From which manufacturer should you buy the heat pump - ventilation system combination?

Good evening,

should one buy the heat pump and central ventilation system from the same manufacturer or is that not a good idea?
Which manufacturer would be recommended? Stiebel Eltron and Wolf are, according to my research, "good" manufacturers or is there perhaps a "insider tip".

It's the same question as whether the iron should be from the same manufacturer as the TV. The two have nothing to do with each other.

Do you want to buy and install it yourself, or where does the question come from?

I have a plot of land and want to build in 2026. At the moment, I am still gathering information.

I have read that you should get the heat pump and the central ventilation system from the same provider, because then you have one technician and one app as a "point of contact." Isn't that a good approach? I also saw that, for example, Stiebel Eltron also offers buffer storage tanks and hot water storage tanks. Actually, I am asking about synergies. But of course, I don't know how good the individual components are or if I might be overlooking something and risking becoming too dependent on one manufacturer, for example. What do you think about that?

Ok, keep it simple convinced me! Thanks for that.

What would be the places 1-5 when building a house?

The approach of awarding the construction of these components to a local company in case of individual contracting, which is also supposed to take over maintenance later, is coherent. Whether this company then takes everything from one manufacturer or not does not matter.

That being said, one must also fairly state that neither a heat pump nor a mechanical ventilation with heat recovery require serious maintenance. Nothing that you can’t do yourself in 5 minutes and for 5€. If you want to. Maintenance-wise, they are a completely different matter than the gas heating – maintenance of a heat pump is similar to maintenance of a refrigerator. Only filters are added.
