Framtid OV10 and the grill snakes

I recently put the Framtid OV10 into operation and tested the grill several times. Interestingly, at the settings "Grill" and "Großflächengrill," only the inner element of the grate always glows:

Does anyone know if this is normal or more likely indicates a defect?

Ask the manufacturer if this is okay. probably Whirlpool.

In the double grill setting, the second heating coil should also turn on.
