Dear *,
In the course of our renovation measures on our house, we had our basement stairs removed to enlarge our garden.
According to the contract, sealing slurry and dimpled membrane are owed. It has now turned out that the construction company "forgot" these. Unfortunately, after gravel had already been filled and the floor slabs had already been laid.
We now fear getting a damp basement!
What would you do?
Reconstruction?
Are there alternatives?
Who has to bear the costs?
The construction company suggests a kind of basin/ over approximately 30 cm newly laid concrete layer to keep the water away from the wall.
I am quite at a loss and would be very grateful for tips and experiences!!
