For toilets, Grohe or Geberit, or is it just a matter of taste?

I know someone will come and write Mercedes or BMW... For some, it's the same, I would clearly answer BMW But wrong topic ^^ Are both now (Grohe and Geberit) at the same level of quality, meaning it's purely a matter of taste which one I choose? So if the Grohe Rapid SL only has 21dB when flushing and that is important to me, can I go ahead without worries? Thanks in advance for your answers!

We have decided on the Geberit Icon for the toilet! Reason? Completely closed on the outside, so no dirt corners and easy to clean. And inside, it is the easiest to clean "rimless" toilet we have found. No edges where anything can settle, etc.

Great toilet - but the sinks also have a stylish design. And they're also quite affordable. I installed those too.

I find the term "Geschmacksache" strange in connection with toilets. We have rimless toilets from Vigour and Geberit flushing systems with them. The flushing mechanism was not so important to us, and we took whatever the plumbing company preferred to install. There is not much difference in quality - each manufacturer offers different shapes and surfaces.
