Hello,
I am currently choosing tiles for a new rental apartment. The kitchen, bathroom, hallway, and storage room will have the same light gray tiles. The living room and bedroom will have parquet.
The apartment is 59m² and the rooms are rather small. On one hand, people say that 30x60 tiles laid crosswise in a pattern visually widen the room a bit. On the other hand, this results in many grout lines in a small space, and 60x60 tiles look cleaner to the eye.
The hallway also shifts a bit at the end, so 60x60 with cross jointing might look odd there? And the rather small bathroom has a crooked wall.
What do you think?
Best regards Oliver
