House design
Who created the plan: architect available, but plan self-created. Architect
What do you like especially? Why? View axis in the vestibule, integrated case for screen, fireplace and kitchen in the living room, all on one level for the elderly on the ground floor (street level).
What do you not like? Why? Cloakroom too small (127 cm), workshop too small, office somewhat too large. Possibly too convoluted.
Price estimate according to architect/planner: €600,000 (architect estimates poorly so far)
Personal price limit for the house, including equipment: €650,000 (reserves available)
Preferred heating technology: brine-water heat pump (with passive cooling) with trench collector, controlled residential ventilation
If you have to do without, which details/extensions
-can you do without: T-solution bathroom.
-can you not do without: hi-fi living room, kitchen island, floor-level showers, double garage
Why did the design turn out as it is now?
I can't do better (layman) :-D. Unfortunately, neither can the architect (objectively viewed).

Hello everyone,
here again SweetHome files (the professionals will probably be rolling their eyes already) but with the difference that probably more time was invested by me in the planning than usual for a layman’s draft.
The sad story:
I have an architect, but after 4 months of waiting she delivered only disappointing results. Although I asked for a detached design, the external dimensions were adopted and the rest was made worse by “improvements.” Typical example of no time and hastily done combined with little talent.
Then I went to a building consultant. The design proposal there—again a female architect—was once again catastrophic.
Then I lost trust in the profession and took things into my own hands. It seems to me there are many bad apples among architects.
I was somewhat confirmed in this, as almost without exception every architectural plan here in the forum is torn apart (but for me understandable from the explanations, thanks to the great forum participants!).
About the house:
All requirements of the development plan are complied with.
North is really at the top of the plans with only two degrees deviation.
There is a road to the north. Good view to the south. Large distance to neighbors in east and west.
For you, the undimensioned floor plans in the second post are probably least confusing (but are not quite up to date). Double garage is partially missing there.
Best regards and I hope for constructive improvement suggestions!
