Hello everyone,
I hope you can give me some advice about my project.
The property is a Weberhaus from 1985.
In the attached drawing, the walls marked in red were already existing. After consulting with Weberhaus, these are the support beams.
Now we would like to have an open kitchen in the kitchen area (left). We would like to open the walls there and, of course, leave the beams standing.
The contact person from Weberhaus said that this is not a problem as long as we leave the middle wall between the living area and the hallway and the staircase untouched. According to him, the drywall walls are stiffening and prevent the house from ultimately becoming "crooked."
Furthermore, we would like to move the water pipe in the kitchen area about 1 meter to the right. Is this easily possible in a prefabricated house?
Best regards, Tony
