Hello everyone,

a few weeks ago, I already sent a floor plan for our planned single-family house.

Here, after some considerations, a new sketch once again.

I would kindly ask you to share your opinion with us before we go back to the architect.

Sketch no longer available

Thank you very much for your information / feedback!

Many thanks and best regards

You must not draw the wall as lines - they have a thickness of about 12 to 24 cm. You absolutely have to take that into account. Especially the exterior walls! Front is not appealing with the windows differing on the sides. Bedroom doesn't work like that. Please do it again so we can give advice :)

Ok yes please do not take the positioning of the windows on the front too seriously. The one in the middle is not acceptable at all and will be corrected! What does not work with the bedroom?

Our floor plan is almost the same, only that the living room and kitchen are swapped on the ground floor and we don’t have a bay window. The walk-in closet on the upper floor doesn’t work. Unfortunately, that is a much too complicated solution. Our walk-in closet is where your exit to the balcony is, and the bedroom is to the right of it (with an additional entrance from the hallway), but that doesn’t work for you because of the balcony or would be pointless. Maybe your planner has a different idea?

By the way, you have "misregistered". The top and bottom are different sizes...

No, he got that right, but still nothing fits if you also give the walls some space. The upper floor doesn't work because you need more than 70cm passage – it's like an airlock at your place where no one wants to go through... It's not worth putting energy into posting here.

And if you say: "Don't take the windows too seriously", what else should we maybe not take seriously???
