Hello everyone,

I have it in mind that I want a shower tray for our bathroom.

Unfortunately, there is nothing like a kitchen or bathroom studio near us... :D So, I'm trying it here with you...
Are there any requirements regarding the floor structure and drainage planning that I need to consider now?
The connections/accessories don't look that special. But if I have learned one thing from planning our house, it's that there is always a problem I can't see right away.
Therefore, I hope that someone here has maybe built something like this before and can help me a little??

Many thanks for your effort

hello!!!
i installed one at my place yesterday ;)
depends on what exactly you want... do you want the thing flush with the floor or can it stand on a frame?
because if you want it flush with the floor, your drain and the insert where it should go also have to be deeper... because the siphon alone measures about 6 cm.
but since my drain pipe was 1 cm above the tiles (the corner was actually intended for a washing machine etc. by the previous owner) i decided on a frame, because the effort to break up the old floor, lay the pipe again and retile was too much for me.
otherwise you don't really have to consider anything major.... with a frame it can be installed just like a normal shower.

You do have a plumbing supply store, don't you? They usually don't look like much, mostly inconspicuous and wholesalers for plumbers. Yellow Pages ;)
