Floor construction for floor coverings without level differences

A very good morning to all users. I have a question about the floor construction. We want different floor coverings, but no height differences within the floor. Example: There are tiles in the bathroom and a PVC covering is planned for the hallway. Do you now have to inform the company that installs the screed about the respective floor coverings? How is it handled if the decision is made only after the screed has been installed? This is possibly about a height difference of up to 2 cm.

Take self-leveling screed/levelling compound!

Yes.


That would be extremely unwise, because then you would have to cover the additional costs yourself - adjusting the screed height to accommodate the covering.

We informed our GÜ in time, so he was able to have the screed carried out accordingly right away. That is probably the easiest...
