Hello,
I have a permanent position and my husband is still in the probation period with a fixed-term contract in the public sector.
We are in the process of buying a plot of land to build on, and through a financial broker, we have also found a bank that would grant us the loan.
The problem is that the bank knows my husband is in the probation period, but they do not know that he has a fixed-term contract because no one asked about it.
With the probation period, it would not be a problem if my husband received a certificate from his employer regarding the shortening of his probation period.
Now the bank still needs a few documents, including my husband's employment contract.
Now we are afraid that if we send the employment contract, we will no longer get the financing.
Although I have a permanent position, he earns more than I do.. and if he is not taken on permanently, the likelihood that he will remain unemployed is very low.
What are your experiences?
Best regards.
