Hello forum members.
I would like to hear your opinion on whether a building savings contract makes sense at the moment if I want to build in 10 years.
It is about a product from the second largest building society (red).
Currently, the interest rate on the loan is 1.35%. The fee is, as with everyone else, 1% of the building savings amount.
A friend through whom I could conclude the contract offered me to reduce the 1% costs at the conclusion by half by giving up part of his commission.
That means, for a €150,000 building savings contract, the contract would normally cost me €1,500. So now only €750.
The building saver is credited with 1% interest. Although not much, I currently don't get any more on my overnight money account!
What do you think?
