Hello forum,

I am looking for a person who is capable of graphically revising my website in an appealing way.

I am of the opinion that it looks a bit boring - I am not a programmer. All texts and images are ready. Since the domains are secured and are not with the mentioned "website tinkering company," I want the site to be self-hosted.

BE(LOHN)UNG:

Please provide me with sketches (they can also be doodled), I will create the house planning at a scale of 1:100. Floor plans, elevations, 2 sections. Only single-family house with a maximum of 2 full floors, possibly with a basement. The rest by arrangement. Please send me a private message.

Thanks and regards, Andreas

The most common one will be Wordpress. I found someone through Xing who made my homepage. For that, I took some real estate photos for him :) Jimbo is not that bad, however the address doesn't seem very professional ;) And a slide show at the top, showing some references, wouldn't be bad. Good luck with the deal :)

thank you for the info. if I choose WP, then the domain is: wordpress.my domain. I wanted to avoid that. The address will still be changed, the 256 is just provisional at the moment. References are included under Beispiele, but I still have to optimize them. We'll see if I find someone. thanks again.

Hello Andreas,

A few years ago, I faced the same problem and started looking for a webby. In the following conversations, I often lost faith when I saw the "finished" drafts. Leaving aside the range of costs that the ladies and gentlemen web designers charge, although I would have paid it if I had only liked the appearance. As a result, I developed and hosted our homepage myself, as they say nowadays.

I don’t believe you’ll find anyone at the main train station; Yvonne’s idea is definitely more promising, and a Xing address can also be obtained quickly. If by chance a webby shows up at the main train station, he will surely have other ideas and wishes in mind than developing your homepage ;)

Nevertheless, good luck!

Rhenish regards
