Find building surveyor: Costs / Prices

We want to have the construction of our house accompanied from the beginning by a building inspector.

Two questions regarding this:

How/where can I find an independent, good building inspector in the Berlin area? Yes, I know Google, but often the same inspector's various pages appear, along with specialized offices that look expensive and are partly specialized in mold inspections or similar. But I want an expert for new construction supervision.

What does an inspector cost on average? How many appointments does he usually have during a construction? I read about 5 appointments, is that correct? How much should I expect to pay in total? I wanted to plan about €2000-3000, to be safe.

Hello, I have also conducted extensive research. Until recently, I wanted to have this done by the expert of the Bauherrenschutzbund, 12 appointments + final inspection + photo documentation. That would have been around 1,600 gross + 800 euros travel/time costs. I wanted to save the latter and then looked for one through the Yellow Pages or the later pages of Google (just take a look at pages 3-4-5) and found one. Lives almost next to my construction site ([Nachbardorf]), learned from the ground up ([maurer-maurermeister-ing. etc]) and very experienced. Is significantly cheaper and above all, he can come by every evening because he always cycles for exercise anyway. So perfect. You should expect costs of around 2,000 + VAT.
