Hello everyone,
We would like to buy a small modular house. We already have the plot of land. Since it is something not "ordinary," some banks are rather hesitant. Who has ever financed a modular house or knows which banks are flexible in this regard? The house will cost about €150,000 including all additional costs.

Thank you very much!

What distinguishes a modular house from another house and what reasons do the banks give for their problems?

You don't know what it's worth if it goes wrong.

I suspect it means the sociologist genius stroke that is dug up every few decades: building a house as a collection album of rooms: a cozy apartment for two, to which children's rooms are added, an extension attached to the kitchen-living room, and eventually an upper floor added on. Sometimes architecture professors revive this idea, currently it is more likely space cell manufacturers who put this bug in the ears of young academics. This was already the "eureka" moment a hundred years ago, and miraculously it has never caught on.
