Hello, in our construction service description it says: "The frost skirts are shuttered and filled with gravel up to the bottom edge of the slab. The assumed soil pressure is 2 kp/cm²." So far, so good. But then there is a statement that we do not understand: "Backfills around the house/frost skirts are to be agreed separately." What are we supposed to imagine here, what is meant by this and how sensible is such a backfill? THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANSWERS!

this means that the final backfilling of your house is not included in the price and is therefore charged separately. It can definitely make sense to have your house level with the ground

Without backfilling, you have a small moat all around.
