Fastbo wall panels

Quick question: How thick/strong are the Fastbo wall panels? Unfortunately, it's not listed on the Ikea site.

Do you just stick them to the wall with construction adhesive (ugly tiles)?

It's certainly the cheaper option (will be coming up for me soon as well) possibly or Pattex assembly adhesive for non-absorbent surfaces, but supposedly there are also Ikea metal rails or I have read in the forum that you can use a U-profile or L-profile depending on the finish from the hardware store!

there are NO rails or wall fixings for fastbo wall panels. either use double-sided tape (which is best, as it is relatively easy to remove) or attach to the wall with silicone. I would use the tape for smooth background surfaces and silicone for tiles or textured wallpaper and the like.

Hello I only laid the Fastbo for the first time yesterday on a rather uneven wall with "Pattex 4in1" to both glue and close any small gaps at the same time. With precise work, almost no joint is visible. Best regards bergpriv :)
