Facing in the basement if the ground floor and attic are already clinker-faced?

Hello, we want to build a house on a slope. The basement is therefore partially above ground/ sticks out of the slope.

We want to clad the house with bricks. The side viewed from below then shows three levels (basement, ground floor, attic). If we brick all three the same, we think it won't look very good.

We have been thinking for a long time about what can be done to visually loosen it up.

Basically, we want to continue to fully brick the ground floor and attic. We don’t want vertical plaster strips over several floors or only plaster or panel the attic because then we would again need an elaborate scaffold for repainting. That is one of the reasons for bricks, besides the personal desire for bricks.

So far, we only have the following own ideas: - brick the basement in a different color (lighter or darker? does that make it look less massive or does it not help?) - clad the basement with natural stone/sandstone (we don’t know if in reality it will look like it does in our head...) - plaster the basement with a double-shell wall (we can reach possibly to-be-repainted areas with an ordinary ladder, so the effort is manageable)

This is roughly what we imagine the brick color to be, the roof color will also be black and the wooden cladding and window frames white:

For the sandstone we are thinking of something like this:

Does anyone have other ideas or can even show real pictures where this has been done before in such a way? I haven’t been able to find anything like this on the internet so far... I would be very grateful for tips/ links or own photos.

Best regards

Photo1 found through Google search for "Haus Denker", from Baumeister-Haus

Photo2 found through Google search for "Sandstein Klinker"
