Hello,

I have bought a used Luftig extractor hood.

I have attached the enclosed eyelets / brackets to the wall with screws.
When I now hang the hood, it hangs firmly and securely, but it tilts slightly forward, which does not look very good.

Did I forget something or does anyone perhaps have an installation manual for this extractor hood?

best regards
Martin

I don’t know the model, but extractor hoods are usually also attached on the sides to the cabinets (wall cabinets etc.) next to the extractor hood.

Only screwed on the back would mean that the weight completely hangs there and logically, it would then bend downwards.

So regardless of your device, which I don’t know: look for holes for screws to attach on the sides to cabinets, e.g. tall cabinet, wall cabinet or even wall. Usually, however, extractor hoods hang as a middle thing between the cabinets, less directly on the wall.
