Hello everyone,
although I have already seen the question below, I still have a similar question.
My wife and I are currently planning our own home (Energy Saving Ordinance) and we are also faced with the question of:
Option 1: Brick 36.5 cm without insulation
Option 2: Brick 17.5 cm + 16 cm composite thermal insulation system + 2 cm exterior plaster
We want a large heat-air pump with a photovoltaic system and have been wondering what the concrete difference between both systems is.
We heard something like:
Option 1 is more durable but cracks faster
Option 2 is cheaper, doesn’t crack as quickly, but would be pointless for solid houses.
Unfortunately, we are not building experts ourselves and are now quite uncertain. Allegedly, both wall systems should work with our heat pump.
With kind regards,
Jesfreric
