Hello everyone,

soon the topic of exterior plaster will come up.
The plasterer has now offered dispersion disc plaster.

He personally thinks it is better because

a) the color is directly included
b) it is supposed to crack less

Therefore, a question for the experts/homeowners who have already dealt with this topic

Would you agree with these two points?
Do you really no longer need to paint the plaster then?

What disadvantages does the dispersion plaster have?

Thanks for your opinion!

When I recently obtained an offer for the exterior design of our house, I was told that one generally uses a white exterior plaster and then paints it afterwards, because otherwise there would be a risk of seeing color irregularities.

Our plasterer said that with light colors, you no longer need to paint the dispersion plaster, only with dark, strong colors is a coat of paint recommended. But since we want white / very light gray anyway, just the dispersion plaster (in the appropriate color) would be absolutely sufficient.....

But as I said, I am basically still considering and gathering information on whether to use dispersion or mineral plaster....
