Hello everyone,
we will soon have the exterior plastering done. We have a monolithic brick wall with a thickness of 36.5 cm. But I would like to inform myself in advance
- What types are available
- How many layers? (base coat + top coat + paint or even more?)
- What your experiences with it are and
- What the advantages and disadvantages are for each type
I know there is a fine scratch plaster, which is supposed to be quite expensive but also very durable. There are also mineral plasters and plasters that contain more "plastic"? Should such a plaster be colored right away or is it painted only at the end?
We have an appointment with the plasterer soon, who will give us his recommendation as well, but if I am already somewhat informed beforehand, it’s better.
Thanks in advance!
