Yes, just looked at a few pictures, of course you know that. But visually it's still not quite right, and dirt is probably the bigger problem anyway;-) My biggest question is how I do the wall connection or the separation.

At the level where the excavator is standing, there should later be approximately a pavement edge. Maybe 5cm higher.

I just thought of something. I want to run the paving later along the bottom of the pedestal. If I now pour the pedestal only 15cm and later dig freely, the compacted gravel base will break away at the edge under the concrete pedestal. Should I best pour the pedestal down to 25-30cm around the outside where the paving will run beneath later (in the drawing green would be concrete), so that I have a clean edge where I can later drive the paving against?

Because we like it, and we are only in our mid-30s. In 30-40 years, a ramp will quickly be added there.
