For the renovation of a bathroom in an interior, windowless room of approximately 4 sqm, I am interested in assessments regarding the feasibility of relocating the sink and toilet as well as the installation of a walk-in (ideally flush-to-floor) shower and a rough estimate of the price range for this project.

Best regards

You should definitely upload a current floor plan; mark doors, windows, pipe routes, etc. That could be a starting point. You also have to be aware that probably everything will have to be removed, basically gutting the place, and then water and electricity will need to be redone. The choice of the faucet or washbasin will not be the cost driver here. Only with a new plan can a price be determined; before that, everything is guesswork, unless you are satisfied with a statement that the price might be between 5 and 15K, depending on the respective craftsmen.

Thank you very much for the first reply. :) Unfortunately, there is only an overall floor plan and no — let's say — partial drawing of the bathroom as well as the other rooms. The room is indicated as ~ 3.44 sqm. However, the room dimensions have already proven to be incorrect during the kitchen renovation. According to the data sheet, the bathroom must measure ~ 1.81 m by ~ 1.91 m. The bathtub alone is already 1.97 m (own measurement).

I would probably ask a building services technician to make a measurement drawing, or should I measure everything completely myself?

If I plan to renovate (my) bathroom, I would have already made this drawing myself. And yes, also measured it myself.

Where do you envision the new toilet? You don’t have many options.

Water flows downward, not upward. If you’re lucky, the tub is sitting directly on the floor without screed, then the possibility of a level shower would be given.

Price from.. to.. depends on what you choose and who will do it.

Overall, the bathroom makes a very good impression - whether you really need to tear it out, you have to decide... I would just spruce it up with a stylish washbasin, mirror, better lighting and possibly cladding. For lighting, a high or frosted window section in the door could be useful.

Graph paper is your friend.... :D, no one needs any 3-D animations etc. It's about measurements, distances, passages, etc. If you then make a few copies of it, you can always shuffle and draw around.

Or apps. Everything works :) Based on the photos, I have difficulty with improvements.
