Expert for an Okal house from 1963

Good evening,

We are considering buying a prefabricated house from the company Okal Haus (type 117) privately. Due to well-known issues, of course not without an expert. Could someone please recommend a surveyor in the greater northern Berlin area? An indoor air analysis has already been commissioned by the seller and the result will be made available to us. So we are mainly interested in an assessment of the renovation needs.

In my opinion, an Okal house from 1963 belongs to the pioneers of the myth of the barrack-like prefab house ;-) and until proven otherwise, I would not assume less than gutting it. My reading recommendation for this would be: The manufacturer still exists by name, but in my opinion not much more. In this respect, I rate owners of prefab houses whose manufacturers are openly no longer in existence more favorably, e.g. for Renolit products there are specialized renovation companies.
