Hello everyone! We will start building in the near future. A suitable plot of land is already available. We would like to use clinker, but we are only concerned with the appearance. However, since we would have to completely adjust our floor plans again and then either lose living space or have significantly higher costs due to the increase in square meters, I have been thinking about [Riemchenklinker]. Can someone share their experiences? How do the costs compare to other clinkers? How is the processing? Easier/more complicated? Could [Riemchenklinker] theoretically be applied to plaster?

Slips are made precisely for this purpose: appearance without adding much thickness, retrofittable even on already plastered walls, basically the brick as a wall tile. They are "glued on," whereas full clinker bricks are built up like interior walls, resting on the stone layer below and must be anchored in the structural wall shell.

In terms of thickness, we are talking about approximately 3 cm for slips and 10 cm more for full clinker bricks.

Thank you very much, I believe it would be more cost-effective then, wouldn’t it?
