Experiences with Ikea Metod genuine wall cabinet? Assembly tips

Are there actually real attachment cabinets for Metod or only a 40 cm wall cabinet as an attachment to the 200 cm one to reach 240 cm?

Has anyone ever mounted such a 40 cm cabinet without a bottom on the tall cabinet? Or tried and refrained?

hello kai,

got them. one is 60cm wide (60 deep) and one is 40cm wide (40 deep because of pipes behind). these are placed directly next to each other.
i have night shift today and will upload a photo later.





looks good, there were no problems either. however, i always screw all carcasses additionally on the sides with furniture screws (attachments with the cabinet below). that way i have extra stability and it is really straight.
