Hello everyone,

I am very sure that I assembled the chair "Martin" correctly, but when you sit on it, all four legs are pushed outward – meaning they slide about 1 cm in all four directions on the floor. How can this be? Has anyone had similar experiences?

Hi,

so far I know of one case where the same problem occurred. In fact, the legs were mounted the wrong way around. So take the legs off again and turn them around. Then it should work.

Best regards

So, the legs are properly assembled, and the screws tightened as much as possible. It seems to me that this is a design flaw. Previously, the U-shaped legs from "Martin" were mounted crisscross under the seat. Now they are screwed longitudinally to the "seating direction," with two crossbars as spacers. That can hardly be that stable in fact. I am surprised that no one else is bothered by it.

Without meaning to offend you - Are you more heavily built? I can't say off the top of my head up to how many kilos they were tested...

The question had to come up. The chair should be able to hold 78 kilos, right?

I paid close attention again: the legs drift about 5 mm outward. So it's not much, but the feeling of sitting on a stable chair is different.

Well, if a man weighs 150 kilos, the question might be justified...
So unfortunately, I can’t say anything about that.
I’ll take a look!
Claiming a complaint shouldn’t be a problem!
