Hello everyone,

My question relates to the use of an exhaust hood despite [Kontrollierte-Wohnraumlüftung].

Are there any experiences with this?

The background is that with [Kontrollierte-Wohnraumlüftung], recirculation is always recommended. But what about the exhaust air?

I would like dirt and odors to stay outside.

Thank you very much for your information.

Hi Urs 1988,

We also wanted an exhaust hood but were convinced not to do it. These exhaust hoods blow a lot of air out of the house. This air only comes into the house through an open window and that is not effective.

Now we are looking at which recirculating hood to buy. We prefer Gutmann Campo, but we still have a conversation with an employee.

Just take a look at the website of the company "Berbel" and they have good products. I am concerned with odors and grease particle filtration. We now have a new recirculation hood from this company and the typical raclette smell was eliminated in no time.

Hello,

We own a Siemens part and it works perfectly. Our area: kitchen-dining-living area plus gallery is open. There are no problems with cooking odors.

When we have a party, for example at New Year's Eve, I do smell something. But something like that no extractor hood could handle.

Best regards

I also have an exhaust hood, and when it is in operation, I briefly open the window. I set it to tilt for air exchange. That helps and we do not have any odors in the house.

Hello everyone,

Thank you very much for your information and the lively exchange.

I will reconsider the purchase.

Although such a recirculation hood can bring quite a lot.

Many thanks.
