Experiences with construction companies!?

Hello,
We have decided to build our dream house in Hildesheim and the surrounding area; like many others, it should be affordable and good.
We would like a solid house with about 120sqm. But there are so many providers on the market that you don’t even know where to start.
I have already browsed a bit here and excluded one or two.
Maybe you can give me a few tips on who you can recommend or maybe not?

searching within a closer radius of 30-40 km is certainly advisable. Have a reference list sent to you, or download it from the homepage. Look at reference projects and talk to the residents. Googling with the company name is also a good alternative.

Definitely spend money on proper construction supervision by an engineer. Better beforehand than arguing later.
