Hello everyone,

Does anyone have experience with tiles in wood look?

My father is a tiler and said he once installed Villeroy & Boch with the laying system and never again. Due to the format, edges and points often protruded.

We have just had tiles from Marazzi laid with <2mm grout, flawless.

However, it took us a long time to find something that appeals to us visually. Internet pictures are completely useless for that. We found many there that we immediately ruled out in real life. The only way to help is to see it live, and on the floor! Many are advertised on wall shelves, which is also very misleading.

I have never really seen beautiful wood-look tiles. It always looks like "it's for the tenants, looks quite okay". I also have wood in the kitchen and bathroom. Works great.

We like ours now, but after all, they are ours Maybe as inspiration: Treverktrend Rovere Naturale. But as I said, really look at it on the floor, pictures are not conclusive.

That's exactly why installation is also more expensive than with 45 x 45.

Our younger son wanted wood-look tiles in his bathroom. No problem. I'm not a big fan of fake things. But it really looks neat.
