Hello everyone,
the eco-fascists are swinging the next club again:
Now, from 2019 or 2023 (depending on the source), all home builders should please provide pre-wiring for electric cars or, in multi-unit buildings, complete charging stations should be installed. Such a charging station costs only a few thousand.... so what...
Have these idiots still not understood? Charging stations in the houses alone are useless; the wiring in many residential areas simply cannot handle such power.
To charge an electric car with a decent range, you need a 400 V 32 A connection. And even that is fully utilized over 8-12 hours!
This could really get interesting if every second person wants to charge their e-car for the weekend trip before a long weekend. Some low voltage distribution boards will definitely break down... It will probably look funny when such a thing blows up!
The fact that electricity does not just come from the socket but also has to be produced is often overlooked anyway. Currently, it is assumed that nitrogen oxide pollution will massively increase in the coming years because coal power plants are merrily spewing that stuff out. Maybe they do that so VW cheat diesels don’t stand out so much?!??
And no, solar energy doesn’t help me if everyone is supposed to charge their car AT HOME. Then you have to charge AT NIGHT.... *arrgh*
Lord, let it rain brains...
Best regards,
Andreas
