Hello. We independently arranged construction financing with an insurance company and received an ISIS information sheet. Everything seems fine so far, but one point makes me suspicious because we communicated directly with the insurance company. The information sheet states that the loan broker receives a fee of 3,060 Euros. It does not explicitly say from whom in the information sheet, but since the sheet is addressed to us, I assume that we are supposed to pay this fee. Is that common?

Was there an intermediary involved? Usually, the bank/intermediary pays him. Anything else would be a fee-based consultation.

No, this fee is paid by the lender and this is also regulated in the loan brokerage contract and signed by you. If this fee were to be paid by you, it would be marked as such in the loan brokerage contract and would have been signed by you accordingly.
