Hello everyone,

I have received an offer from the energy consultant for my semi-detached house (KfW-300 / Efficiency House 40) and would like to hear your assessment whether the price is realistic or rather seems too high.

Details about the house

[*]New build semi-detached house (approx. 190 m² living space)
[*]Slope location with habitable basement over three floors
[*]Goal: KfW-40 standard (funding via KfW 300)

Details from the offer

Energy consulting and energy-related construction supervision €8,403.36

    [*]Energy consulting
[*]Application submission in the KfW grant portal
[*]Planning and construction supervision of the energy measures
    [*]Obtaining and evaluation of offers
[*]Checking the proper execution (airtightness, thermal bridges, etc.)
[*]Site inspections, documentation, final report with photos

Building physics included

[*]Thermal protection certificate according to GEG (KfW-40)
    [*]Creation of thermal bridge certificate

Total costs: €10,000 gross

Questions for you

[*]Is a price of €10,000 gross realistic for these services? It seems overpriced.
    [*]Are all these services necessary?
[*]What have been your experiences with energy consultants for KfW-40 or KfW-300 houses?

Thank you very much for your assessments!
