Hello,
we have been living in Switzerland near Lausanne for a while and are now considering buying a house. We have already seen quite a few and have unfortunately realized that nothing will work without renovation.
The work usually involves "minor things," but we are sometimes shocked by the prices of local companies.
Work for which we need help:
- New kitchen
- New bathroom
- New plaster
- Laying parquet
- Painting inside and outside
- General carpentry work
We know very well the prices of many companies in Germany and also the possibilities there of hiring laborers from the EU neighborhood for a few weeks. The prices are significantly lower than what is offered to us here in Lausanne. Therefore, I wanted to inquire whether it is possible to bring companies from Germany into Switzerland and then, for example, renovate 5 bathrooms in the house, or if it is about "simpler" work that is extensive, such as painting an entire 250m2 apartment, to employ a single person from the EU abroad in Switzerland for 2 months. I want to do everything 100% legally and with insurance coverage and wanted to know how to proceed.
Maybe someone here has done something similar before or can give tips on how to properly register this in Switzerland.
Thank you very much
