Hello dear ones,

I'm in a hurry again. It's a long story, I'll get straight to the point. I need to plan my bathroom by tomorrow evening as much as possible, how I want to have things. How would you plan the sanitary fixtures?

I have uploaded the floor plan for you, so the dimensions of my bathroom. Also drawn in is how our architect (is bad) would do it. But I don't like it.

So the bathroom is about a bit more than 8m2. You can take the dimensions from the plan. Bathtub, sink, toilet standard sizes, I would like the shower to be 90 by 140.

The only thing I would like is the sink to be closer to the door. It bothers me that it is in a row... and cramped between the toilet and shower. I have already looked at several pictures, I just can't get any further.

Our wishes:
Shower 140 by 90 at least
Sink 80 cm, 60 cm is okay if necessary
A drywall partition in the bathroom is not necessary but possible for the sink closer to the door.

Does anyone want to suggest ideas to me? As I said, I am still designing and need help. I need a plan that I can submit tomorrow.

Thanks to everyone who takes the trouble and answers supportively.

You could - if the drains are still okay - mirror the bathtub with the sink/toilet, then the sink would be closer, even directly at the door. However, these are only minor distances, so you would actually just be taking one step less. I would leave it as it is.

Why not just one meter? With 140 you also need a door, you don't need 140 for showering, I consider the bathroom too small for a walk-in - then you need 160. An arrangement in a row creates more space in small bathrooms. The washbasin is well placed next to the window. The toilet serves well as a buffer and for freedom of movement, as it is low. Certain dimensions, e.g. between wall and window, are missing.

I would probably do it that way too. Then nicely install the tub with podiums. That creates spaciousness.

that has 2 disadvantages, since the drainpipe has to be led to the other side, because it is already made there, I have to emphasize that the screed can crack... can you maybe make other suggestions, where the toilet stays preferably on the other wall or window side...
