Hello everyone,

we would like to install a lift in our single-family house. In the current planning, we have reserved a shaft with a floor area of 1 sqm. To everyone who has experience in this regard: We appreciate any constructive tips.

Thank you very much! Alex

1 sqm is the absolute minimum for so-called homelifts. However, if transport with a wheelchair or assistant is also to take place, a floor area of 1.5 m x 1.2 m is recommended.

Unfortunately, I can't see anything in your attachment at all. If the later lift has the standard size of 110x140, then the shaft must be 30cm larger in internal dimensions on each side. So that would be a shaft size of 140x170cm. Of course, there are also custom-made lifts. Check out the Austrian company Acendor Lifttechnik, where you can see all the variations on the homepage and from January 7th after the company vacation there will also be very good advice again.

Congratulations! I would like to explicitly exclude the idea of this lift and its *ahem* "integration," but otherwise, in my opinion, the conceptual evolution of the design has made a considerable leap forward.
