Hello everyone,

the power cable for the light of our terrace roof comes out of a joint in the brickwork. Unfortunately, this now needs to be moved up by one row of bricks, as it otherwise would not be covered by the roof.

Can I safely scrape out some of the mortar used in the brickwork and pull the cable up?

What can I use to refill the resulting open joint without having to mix much? Is there something in a tube? Some kind of repair paste or something like that?

The house has not been pointed yet!

Simply leave as an open joint, and have it grouted later.

The grouting will only be done in spring. I am afraid that water will penetrate the masonry because of this.

I have already seen that there is repair cement from Fischer. I will use this.
