Hello everyone,

The following statement can be found in the development plan:
The eaves line may only be interrupted by 1/4.

For a normal little house with a gable roof, we would like to build a conservatory that is attached to the house below the eaves of the house roof.

Does the statement in the development plan therefore refer to the eaves of the house or to those of the entire construction, including the conservatory?

Looking forward to your answers!

I would assume that this refers to the interruption of the eaves by dormers, etc. Conservatories do not interrupt the eaves but have their own.

... that my predecessor is completely correct. This is – apart from the fact that it is otherwise often 1/3 – a typical regulation to prevent the main roof from being given an unwanted ridge direction.
