Hello everyone,

after the summer break, the single-family house construction project is set to start. That’s why we have received an offer from our main contractor for the earthworks, which we can assign to him but do not have to. Of course, it would be somewhat easier from a coordination perspective to get everything from one source. But the prices should also be "within range."

Since I cannot really evaluate the prices well, I would appreciate your feedback. Here I have selected the 8 largest individual items (all prices are net):

Site setup 402.50 EUR
Delivery and installation of construction fence 8.10 EUR / running meter
Topsoil removal 20 cm 1.00 EUR / m²
Excavation of channels soil class 2-6 20.70 EUR / m³
Backfilling of working areas with excavated material, including compaction 17.30 EUR / m³
Backfilling with screened rubble, including delivery and compaction 20.70 EUR / ton (factor cbm>to = 1.8)
Graveling of access road, including delivery and compaction 24.20 EUR / ton (factor cbm>to = 1.8)
Excavator hour 86.30 EUR / hour

What do you say – are the indicated prices okay? By the way, the construction is taking place in southern Baden-Württemberg.

Thanks for your support!

Hello Matze Baustelleneinrichtung is the upper limit for the little bit, delivering the construction fence is big. The rest fits quite well. I don't understand the excavator hour. That should be included in the unit prices. It's "deliver and professionally install, or dispose"

I find that strange. I know it by volume OR by hours

Hi Vicky - awesome nickname

I don't understand that either. In total, 5 excavator hours are estimated, which are billed according to the hourly rate. No idea what that is supposed to cover. But I can ask about it.

"Sort of". Delivering and installing is correct. But nothing needs to be disposed of at the construction site, since only the topsoil is removed, which is distributed later. Does that change anything about your statement "The rest fits quite well."?

Thanks to you all!

That could be travel time... 5 hours sounds like it.
