Hello to all adventurous home builders,
we have a question:
We are building a bungalow without a basement (Effizienzhaus 55, with timber frame construction) with perimeter insulation for the slab. In addition, there is a strip foundation for our bricks with internal metal rods as reinforcement.
Has anyone gained experience with grounding according to the 2013 guidelines? According to the new requirements, grounding should be laid once around the slab and then additionally once around the strip foundation.
Since we are doing the slab ourselves, we somehow can’t get clear information. Also, everything must be documented very precisely with photos and an official document. Who is allowed to do that?
