Hello,

for various reasons I would like to assemble the base cabinets first and then hang the wall cabinets afterwards.

Can I move around on the base cabinets (with countertop) without any problems? The feet are supposed to hold 125kg each, but how much does the connection between the base plate and side panel hold (this extension plate on the feet that goes under the wall is attached, but whether it really helps...)?

Regards,
Martin

The cabinets have always supported me, even the old ones that didn’t yet have the additional plate under the feet.

If the Faktum feet are properly mounted, it is not a problem; the plate of the feet extends over the side wall, so the weight does not have to be supported only by the bottom plate.

If it is still of interest:

It works absolutely without any problems. I have already done it this way with several Ikea kitchens that I have assembled. I always align the base cabinets first, secure them, and only then install the wall cabinets. In doing so, I walk back and forth on the base cabinets without any problems.
