Hello! I urgently need a few different opinions because I am not sure what we should do!

We built our house with Poroton bricks, including the load-bearing walls, but had all other walls done as drywall. The solid walls have now been plastered and the drywall walls have been filled. Since we only want to paint the walls inside, I am afraid that the difference will be visible. Our builder, however, says I can easily paint them! I am an absolute construction layperson!!

Is that really the case or should I have the walls plastered instead?

I really have no idea!

Thanks for your answers

Best regards, Theresa

Hello,

If you want to cover the drywall with wallpaper, a primer is enough and you can get started.

If you want to paint them, I can tell you from experience it depends on how "sensitive" you are and how well the drywall installers have filled the joints ;)

Kind regards
