Hello Our Metod kitchen will have a 60cm wide tall cabinet, 200cm high, above that a 40cm top section which we want to use as a pantry cabinet. We want the tall cabinet to have an 80cm door at the bottom, above that a 120cm door and at the top a 40cm door for the top section, so that the fronts match the adjacent tall cabinet with the refrigerator. My question now relates to the drawers we want to install inside: At what heights can I install the drawers inside the cabinet? In general, my wife wants a tall drawer at the very bottom (Maximera drawer tall) to store beverage bottles there. Up to about eye level, there should then be medium height drawers and above that Utrusta wire baskets, so she can see inside from below. I have now measured various beverage bottles, if I allow a height of 36cm, all kinds of bottles should fit in. In the medium height drawers, my wife mainly wants to store her pour boxes, these are 20cm high. According to the assembly instructions, the 2m carcass has 40 drill holes for the drawers, but it is unclear to me whether I can also install a drawer where there is also a door hinge in close proximity, or what distance between drawer and door hinge I must maintain? I need this information so I can calculate how many medium height drawers and wire basket drawers I need to buy for the cabinet. Kind regards Section Chief
