Hello. I have a general question. We have a combined sewer system, so rainwater and wastewater are directed into the main sewer. Wastewater and rainwater are separated up to the inspection chamber and from there jointly led into the main sewer.

Now we have the following idea. In our utility room, due to the gas heating, controlled residential ventilation, and chimney, condensation water occurs, which is why a wastewater pipe is currently planned. Unfortunately, all other wastewater pipes are on the other side of the house. Directly adjacent to the utility room, only the rainwater pipe from the roof drainage is present in the garden. I hope I have explained it well enough; unfortunately, I do not yet have plans...

Is it permissible, possible, and reasonable to connect the wastewater pipe from the utility room to the rainwater pipe directly adjacent in the garden? Otherwise, the wastewater pipe for the condensation water would have to be routed entirely under the house (without basement) to the other side of the house.

Maybe someone has an opinion on this.

I wouldn’t worry at all about the admissibility, just do it ;-)

Is there not by chance a guest toilet next to the utility room? Then you could also direct the "wastewater" into the flush tank. That works very well too...

I want it to be done officially and correctly. It also has to be included in the drainage planning for the building application.

As already mentioned, all other wastewater pipes are on the other side of the house, including the guest toilet etc. I personally have no interest in having a wastewater pipe laid entirely beneath the concrete slab of the house just because of the trivial condensation water. The result ends up in the combined sewer system anyway.

Does anyone else perhaps have an opinion on this?

Rainwater is rainwater. Everything else is not rainwater. The only thing left is to lay a sewage pipe around the house. Beforehand, be sure to check with the office regarding the drainage. If the person there is reasonable, they will grin just because of the inquiry... and let you dig.

Are we really only talking about the condensate drainage of the heating? It goes out of our utility room through the wall into the pipe that comes from the gutter.

Yup, only condensate from the heating/chimney and controlled residential ventilation.
