Hello everyone,
we are building a KFW55 solid house with 36.5 Poroton bricks. Now, of course, the sink and the dishwasher in the kitchen are located on an exterior wall, which leads to the drainage pipe being planned in the exterior wall. It is a stretch of about 2.5 meters.
Our energy consultant said this is not compliant with the Energy Saving Ordinance, but it would not be a problem for him. The construction company says this is done very often in KFW55 houses with kitchens, because otherwise a facing wall is needed, and nobody wants that in the kitchen. The slot would be insulated to reduce the thermal bridge.
Who among you has built a KFW house and placed part of the drainage pipe in the exterior wall?
Were there any problems with KFW or other objections?
Many thanks in advance.
