Draft: How to seal windows afterwards - Which seal to use?

Hello!

My landlord has given me free rein to tape our older wooden windows with an additional seal (on the frame or sash) due to partially increased drafts.
As a layman, I am very overwhelmed by the wide range of seals and am not quite sure what to buy when I search for window seals on eBay, Amazon, or Bauhaus, for example.
Can someone recommend something to me?
