Double garage! Costs and which sectional door

We want to realize our double garage promptly, I have not yet received an offer directly, only filled out configurators on various websites and received prices ranging from €7k + foundation to €23k. Building permission is available.

What costs can be expected approximately for a shell construction?

Which garage door manufacturers are there?

What door sizes are standard?

Which manufacturers are the cheaper and good ones?

Is an exit door - emergency door necessary?

Maybe you have some information for me, on Monday I will have a visit from 2 shell builders whom I found through MyHammer.

If you are convinced by these systems, then what speaks against them? In my opinion, the prices are quite cheap to much too cheap.

We paid just over 20 for a 6x8m with two sectional doors including the foundation. However, as a precast reinforced concrete garage.

The 7k are certainly base prices. In addition, there are windows, side doors, anti-condensate, electric garage door opener, etc. Recently there was a similar thread here where prices for double steel garages were mentioned.

7k? For a double garage? What material is it supposed to be made of? (Serious question)

Made of steel, but I would avoid that because I like to work on motorcycles and later want to put together a classic car or a fun vehicle.
On the internet, you read that steel garages heat up extremely and cool down in winter, which I can well imagine how that feels with steel.

I can well imagine that the 7k is also the lower limit, but it’s annoying to always answer the same configuration on dozens of pages. That’s why I also hope for your recommendations for a garage builder.

I have now scheduled two appointments with shell builders via MyHammer for Monday and Tuesday. I am curious what prices they will call out.

We have a solid double garage 6.50 x 9 m (outside) with a sectional door 5 x 2.25 m and a gable roof.

We built the masonry ourselves with 24 cm plan bricks, the rest
- base slab with frost skirt and drainage pipes
- gable roof with waterproof underlay and matt black engobed clay roof tiles
- 6 x 3 meter intermediate ceiling
- screed with hard-wearing layer
- interior plaster (only LUP)
- mineral exterior plaster including paint
- sectional door 40 mm thick insulated from H*rmann with electric drive
was carried out by companies and now costs are pretty much exactly 30 K excluding electrical installation

Wow 30k really breaks the mold..

What I still need are infos about the garage door, which manufacturers exist besides for example Hörmann.
What door size is standard and which dimensions are compatible.
Or should one better decide in advance?
