Door spring garden house / sauna in strong winds

Hello,

I am looking for something to prevent the doors of the sauna and garden house from swinging outward when there's a draft, which is common here.

I have bought a gate spring, but it is too stiff.

Do you have any idea what I could use? I don’t want to attach anything on the outside because of the appearance.

are these standard door hinges? They are also available with a "braking function". In that case, they are slightly tapered at the bottom and do not move so easily by themselves anymore.

Yes, standard hinges that basically allow the door leaf to be opened to the utmost.

Hmm, interesting question. Everything related to locking probably doesn't come into consideration for security reasons, right? Or at least it would have to be possible to "emergency unlock" from the inside. Nothing stops something that is stopped beforehand. Door stoppers in various versions are available on the market.

Storm hooks have been suggested here for window shutters... Without a mechanical connection, there is no "security"... Unless you use sandbags :rolleyes:
