Hello,
we have a problem with waterlogging in our garden.
We have about 50cm of topsoil and then a 1.5m - 1.7m thick layer of clay.
We thought that we would need to install drainage pipes to permanently eliminate the waterlogging.
My question is, if we were to install drainage pipes, would that have any disadvantages or only advantages?
My concern would be, would we have to water a lot more in the summer if we installed drainage pipes?
Where is drainage laid everywhere, only where there is lawn or also under the flower bed?
